Mark, who is from Maghull, Merseyside, first became involved with Alder Hey Children’s Charity almost 7 years ago, aged 15. Mark said: “I wanted to acknowledge what Alder Hey and its amazing staff have done for me and my family over the years and raise funds and awareness for this vital institution which cares for so many people.  I am so proud to have been awarded a BEM for my work.”
